Email them and let them know. They replaced my last SVH defective customs at no charge.

If you had customs made, email them and they’ll make it right. I had issues with my SVH customs when I got mine and the retailer rescanned me and sent me a new pair that fit.

100% false.
Hockey Stick Man makes the same claim with their blackout sticks. A buddy of mine went there the other day and they told him it’s a Hyperlite 2 just without the graphics.
Their blackout sticks are nowhere close to the top end sticks on the market.

I’m lucky that my local shop can do the scans and they aren’t far away. Better to get them to do it so they’re on the hook if something goes wrong with the skates.
I didn’t even realize that they had a DIY scan process now.

Congrats on getting back to skating. I’m working through my own injury right now so I totally get when you’re coming from.
I bought custom Trues in 2018 and skated them into the ground. Picked up SVH as replacements when they came out
Never had any pain issues with either skate. I’d suggest baking them to make sure they fit your feet properly and you don’t get any pain.
I also replaced their holders with CCM holders so I could continue using step black steel. My suggestion there is to get the shop to use all copper rivets to avoid any looseness issues.
Hope this helps you make up your mind. If they don’t fit properly after getting custom made from true, they may remake them for you. It could also be related to which tongues you use with the skates.
