Removing Grip from Stick Shaft

This might sound like a really dumb question but I’ve asked some really crazy stuff on here in the past and surprisingly the hockey Jedi’s on here always have something for me. I ended up getting a great deal on a bunch of pro sticks but I just can’t get use to how extra sticky the shaft is on the things. I’ve tried Mr Cleans and got nowhere. Was wondering if anyone has used that goo gone stuff and wether it worked. Or if anyone has any other experience that worked. It doesn’t have to be completely gone but just reduced would be great.

True Shift Holders not working out.

I hope this doesn’t come across as the dumbest question ever, I know you guys on here are Jedi’s when it comes to gear so forgive me for asking this.
Will the Step Steel Black that I have in my Shift holders on my True skates fit into a set of Tuuk light speed edge holders ? Both are size 272.
The Shift holders just don’t feel right and I’ve got to try something different.
