The kid is filthy. He uses a lot of his roller hockey techniques in his play. He's fun to watch.
I know what you're talking about first hand lol played with him growing up. went to the same high school. good friends. I think he's going to have a very good season this year. I'm excited to watch him more.

I actually ran into Getzy at a sushi bar in Phoenix when the Ducks and Yotes had that little mini series and asked him why he switched to Bauer. He said it just wasnt working out with Easton and that it was time for a change. Thank god, looks way better in a 4500 than an easton helmet.
Excuse the mullets, had them for playoffs and had to throw my ducks hat that night for cogliano's hattie.
talking with Ethan Fink about it, he said that Getzy wanted more money, Easton said no fuckin way, and it was done.

Wow Getzlaf wanted more money? I could see that. But why would he ask for more money when he didn't do a whole lot of endorsing for them off the ice. Unless he was on commercials up in Canada. I have never really seen anything here.

I agree, this happens all the time. Problem is that if you as a player don't do anything to deserve a higher pay, then I don't blame easton for saying no lol. the 11-12 season for Getzlaf was shit, and then he asks for more money? Not a chance, he can go fuck himself with that one lol I don't disagree with Easton at all
