Just wanted to see if anyone knew whether the AS1 stIck was closer to the Nexus or Supreme line flax profile? Previously using 2NPROS but just picked up a couple of retail AS1s

I keep reading people saying the AS1 is the CCM Supreme which based on the descriptions of the sticks is completely wrong. I guess people see yellow and think high kick. But the Tacks is a mid-kick meaning that it should play closer to the Nexus than the Supreme.

Tacks has a stiff blade, Supreme is the softest. Totally different philosophies

I wouldn’t call em light but not heavy either. They feel on par with 2016 1N weight. Haven’t skated with them yet but we will see how they play on ice vs dry land shooting. First retail Tacks I’ve owned

Been using a pro stock AS1 and it does feel most similar to my old Nexus 1N, perhaps a bit lower kick point. The AS1 has a very stiff blade, lots of ‘pop’ which I really like. I’ve generally been replacing all my Bauer twigs with CCM and the tacks line has impressed me a lot.

Only a game in but at times the blade plus stone hands had a puck bounce on a hard pass. Messing with length I couldn’t really get a solid feel for it coming from 2N Pros. I have two of them so I’ll get a good idea tomorrow
