Hey all, I bought the Tuff Lite socks a few years ago but they're sacked out now. What do you use and why do you like them? It doesn't seem like Tuff Lite is set up to ship to Canada, but I'm also guessing some other brands are making some comfortable yet protective socks now too. Let me know!

I have the Kevlar Bauer’s and they’re a little thicker which is understandable but still sucks because I use those thinnies you get from your LHS. I wear them only when I haven’t done the laundry and all my other sets of under gear are still dirty and that’s all I have left, they’re honestly even a little annoying to put on the feet because they have zero stretch to them. I can see why pros are hesitant to use them tbh lol
Edit* I forgot to say, that I DO think they are a genuinely good sock though. I don’t notice any hamper to my skating with them on at all

I recently picked up a pair of Aycane socks after all the targeted marketing got to me. Wore them for the first time last week. Didn’t even notice the extra padding or compression and I mean that in a good way. Felt thin and didn’t get in my way compared to the normal socks I wear. They are pretty high, going up your calf. With the cut resistant material the upper portion also retains heat. Probably typical with all these kinds of socks

Not socks, but just an FYI, Pure Hockey is running a 25% off sale which includes Warroad products. I know people rag on them for the price but discounted from $130 to $70 and then an additional 25% brings them to just over $50. They have cut resistant material on the back of the legs where socks would also provide coverage.
Both cut resistant tops are also on sale for $64 and $60 respectively. For those prices that’s a helluva deal. Their stuff is real good quality and breathes nicely
