How do I give a company a curve I'd like to use if it's not with them? Cause I'd like to put a mathieu perreault pro curve on an ek60! So would I give them the name of the stick and the code?
Do you have the blade already? I was told sometimes you have to send it in. And if they have to create the mold the min purchase is much more then if they have it in stock

Looks like a run of the mill E28, no? H-28
Thanks, still learning all the curve codes

That is not an E28 or H28. Purcell's pro curve (same as Clarkson/Kovy/Zidlicky) is a bigger hook. It is based on an E28 shape, but they are not the same curves.

My experience with custom ordering...
Minimum order for Easton was 12 sticks @ $300USD/stick (however, I've heard that some pro shops will do a minimum of 3-6 with a blended/mixed order). None of the LHS here in San Jose would do such an order, so I made some contacts elsewhere. (A custom curve was an additional $250-$300 for a mold plus extra time for delivery)
Ordered January 29th, delivered April 11th to my contact, received April 17th.
As you can see below, I didn't go too crazy with my order. I just wanted a pro stock shaft/blade with a P92 curve (E3), 65 flex at 66 3/8", so when I cut it down it'd be between an 80-82 flex. Since I was using to breaking... er... using a retail Easton v9e 75 flex cut down to about a 92-94 flex, I wanted to be able to experiment with shorter sticks without having a stick that was too stiff.
It's almost been 5 months since I've received my sticks. Since then, just this past week, my first stick has just about seen the end of its life (cracked blade). Compared to what a retail Easton v9e lasted (just over a month and just long enough to void the warranty), these have already been worth their weight in durability alone. Also, I've never had the need nor desire to buy another pro stick stick with someone else's specs. So, I'd say spending $3900 has already been worth it in the long run. In closing, the biggest hurdle I've found was just finding someone to take the order.

Looking for low kick but not sure if I want the taper of the X1
Would a newer G3 build be a better fit? Have top parts stiffer then the bottom section?
Thanks. Also if anyone knows a player ID for a kovy/Purcell curve that would be greatly appreciated.
