Shell repair

I have a really sweet pro stock retro devils shell that I got about 10 years ago and have used a ton and it has really taken some wear. I don't want to get rid of it cause it was such a great find - but as you can see in the pic below there is a good size tear up the inside left leg seam, right leg stripe and around the waist in the belt area - also the devils patch is coming off a bit and I'd want that sewn back down.
Tried taking it into a couple tailors around town but they were clueless because of the material of the shell - and my LHS doesn't really do this kind of thing - would really like to salvage it but don't want to spend so much that it would make more sense to just buy another shell - anyone have any suggestions or comments? Very much appreciated.

You could also try this: http://www.speedystitcher.com
Might take a little work to track down the right color wax thread, but you can definitely do that repair yourself by hand. Learning how to use it takes 10 minutes; I bet this job would take you about 30 minutes total.
Edit: actually, after a quick Google search, I found there are tons of colors available online. I've only used black, white, and tan

But seriously, that shouldn't be a problem. I'd just keep trying different tailors. And if you can find the patches or material that you think will do the job, and come up with a way to do it, I'm sure if you just took it in somewhere they'd be able to make happen what you're thinking about.

there's nothing that they haven't done. I recently had them put zippers in the inseam of a pair of Columbus 3rd Hustlers that I bought off of Max. price was fair and work was outstanding!
always looking for non Reebok L & XL shells......

I'll be in Portland for work at the end of the month so that sounds like the winner to me - thanks!

I am amazed out what great work he did - he completely restored a shell I was about to give up on...one of my favorites too.
Very reasonably priced - he patched up the leg - stripes on the side - devils logo - and even threw in a new belt!

Thanks for the suggestions!!

Always LOVED the retro devils look - I scored this shell when I was about 17/18 years old - some client of my Dads was this seriously rich dude who had bought a hockey team in FLA called the Lakeland Prowlers - anyhow, they ended up folding and he had a garage full of all this pro stock gear that he had now acquired and didn't know what to do with so he knew my brother and I played hockey and let my dad bring us over to his garage and go to town on whatever we wanted - it was one of the coolest scores, gear wise, I've ever had! So in literally the PILE of stuff I found this shell, there was actually another one that I gave to a friend on my HS team (not sure if he still has it or not since this was about 15 years ago).
it became my regular shell - I wore the crap out of it (as you can see) so I'm so pumped that it was able to be salvaged...I guess if I think about it, this shell was my first piece of pro stock gear
