I think their new model has made it borderline impossible to sell anything without the pro membership.

 

You have to have the PRO+ subscription or you won't sell much. I tried their regular PRO subscription as an experiment and couldn't sell anything. I have listed items for $15-$20 just to get rid of them and they only get 2-3 views max. If you're not listing hundreds of sticks (real or fake) a day, you will have a very tough time moving anything.

Recently sold an item to a buyer in Canada. Item shipped out less than two hours after purchase. Buyer sends me a messaging asking if I can tweak the shipping label so they don’t pay customs duties. Informed them that SLS labels are automatically generated based on the selling price and I can’t edit them. F-er leaves negative feedback because I ‘couldn’t be bothered’ to somehow change the label

Contact SLS customer service and they will remove the negative feedback. The same thing happened to me and they removed it, no questions asked.

That's strange. I haven't been able to sell jack shit. The same group of 10 or so users keep tire kicking, but I hardly make any sales.

Holy moly this FedEx shipping that they default to is slow. It's wild to wait 2 weeks for delivery in this day and age. Is it really cheap enough to justify it?

Issue resolved. SLS's "shipping insurance" is a gigantic pain in the ass and not worth the extra price. If the package is marked as delivered and the buyer is claiming otherwise, just ignore it and wait for your payout. You'd be much better off buying your own label and insurance.

Did every single PIAS in America conspire to cover SLS with their listings all at once? The last 150+ pages over the last few days have been nothing but PIAS garbage. I thought SLS didn't allow this anymore?

I received one from Ebay and my gross sales was only $2500. My state's threshold must be lower than the IRS threshold. Nothing from SLS yet.
