Hey all,

I recently switched to the new CCM Reload holders and tried using my XS steel with them. I had heard they were compatible, but I’m running into a problem: the rear pin doesn’t seem to lock in when the XS runner is installed. It feels like the steel isn’t seating properly, and I’m concerned it might not be safe to skate on.

Has anyone else dealt with this? Is there a known workaround or small adjustment that can make the XS steel fit securely in the Reload holder? Hoping to avoid buying new steel if I don’t have to.

I can’t answer your specific question, but I did pick up a pair of Reload holders recently to try out. I, personally, found the trigger a PITA to use compared to the XS dial or Bauer’s trigger. It wouldn’t close completely every time. Ended up selling them
