Took apart a 2XL jersey stitch by stitch, seam by seam, and tailored it to a medium:

That's funny. I did the same exact thing with mine. Both with and black. They were giant. Basically goalie cuts. Now they fit perfect.

When you work at an ice rink you see lots of stuff that most don't. So, I'll take the look of this:

Lol maybe, but as a Canadian we almost all would prefer missing jibs to wearing that set up though

Thanks to the "Pro" thumb lock and a crappy backhand padding, I developed a bruised thumb knuckle. It hurt like hell to the point where I couldn't even accept a pass without pain. Since Pat is super backed up with work, I've decided to do a quick and easy fix. I took an ankle gel pad, cut it up, and hand-stitched it to the back-hand padding (left it over hanging because the knuckle moves around a bit and it's better to have something there just in case it slips below). Quick, dirty and kind of ugly, but no pain!

How did you reattach the binding?

Hand-stitching.  Keep the original where it was whenever possible.

Pretty easy to install with some spare Oakley hardware. Seems like the white lace lock replacements are the only ones available within the U.S. (online), so I had to improvise with a sharpie. Huge thanks to HockeyGiant for hooking me up with some spares they had lying around!

At that point you might as well have gone for the black holder

My high school team got ultra tacks gloves for us but I'm noticing to much restriction from the cuff. Do any of you guys know how I could fix that?

Haha, no thanks. These lace locks will serve a functional purpose since I have pronation issues (causes the tongues to slide over to the outstep). I've already asked VH to sew on some tabs on the tongues, but it only helped a little bit. Tried wax laces AND tried loop locking, and both didn't do much. My hope is that these will keep the laces tight and reduce the amount of tongue movement.

Quarter package liner is getting chewed up (as well as the top of my foot):

Requested some tongue tabs:

But, the laces constantly loosen up while skating and adversely the tongue is allowed to slide over:

How much are the gloves going for there?

And are those Megas crazy uncomfortable and ridiculously stiff like the others I have tried on?

Nice, clean stitching.  Ever thought about feeding the belt through the top fold-over?
