I grew up skateboarding in middle to high school and still love the hell out of it...

skated for 20 years beginning in the early 90s. The following documentary was very interesting to watch:

I was a big skater as well when I was growing up. I got to see the Bones Brigade when they came to my home town. It was awesome to watch them and I loved that documentary too. Cab was always one of my favorites and the dude still skates pro in his 40's!!!

That being said just got back from a wakeboarding trip 

Rodney Mullen is on another planet, dude is like Rain Man with a skateboard. I'll definitely have to check out that documentary.

Rodney Mullen was always my favorite skater.  I've been riding BMX since I was a little kid (between BMX and hockey, those have always been my two longest/favorite passions). 

This video is 12 years old, but still considered one of the best parts in BMX video history, Van Homan from Little Devil's video Criminal Mischief:

Not really televised in the states.  I only knew of it because I had CBC when I lived in Michigan.
