I don't know that he ever did. I'm not a Jiri Novotny stalker and I don't make a habit of studying every obscure players glove choices. There are many instances of gloves or gear surfacing with players names that they may have never worn in a game or practice. So instead of trying to be a comedian maybe try to add something constructive or pipe down.
