anyone got any info on these and when/where they'll be available? pretty solid looking gloves and if they have them in every colour of the rainbow like the pro series from past years i'll definitely pick up a pair. Always been a fan of the pro series.

also on second thought.. WARRIOR NEED TO EMBROIDER THEIR LOGO ON FRANCHISES! LOOKS SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE CHEAP SCREEN PRINT

I saw these too, they look nice, but they are prolly a lot cheaper then the Luxe.

i think the main difference is the liner, it appears to be a yellow version of the shiny blue from last years model.
As for quality, i was pleasantly surprised with my pro series 4-rolls i used last season. they held up quite well, two small holes in the top hand palm and a rip in a gausset from getting caught on the boards. i personally loved the feel of them, and actually preferred them over the stock franchises because of the plastic inserts

i'll likely give 'em a try if they have them in green, its a pain to play on a team with Minnesota colored jerseys cause its so hard to get stuff to match without forking the cash for customs -.-

I personally like the screened logo. I don't like stitched.. But that's just me.

i think the only screened print i like is when its solid white on dark colors
i just hate seeing a nice pair of gloves ruined when the print smudges

Just received these today. Warrior Bar Down "Montreal". All tufftek with plastic inserts. Nice glove IMO.

maybe I've just been lucky but I have several pairs of Franchises and I've never had the screen print smudge.

In terms of quality, how are they?

It's a well put together glove. I thought it would of been a cheap quality Luxe, but quite the opposite. Not to crazy about the Smart Palm, but that was easily remedied with a seam ripper.
I'll add more of the details when I get a few games with them.

they finally showed up today, and i am very happy with what i see. i got the MSU colorway, 14" and must say the quality is far better than what i expected, and is pretty close to the retail luxe. like the poster above, im a bit iffy about the smart palm, but that can easily be removed. i also like the new liner that they have, its kind of a less cussionny version of their blue liner..feels nice on the hands.

also got the winnwell "pro stock" shouldies for 20$, great pad for the price

They are in the Q4 catalog, so they should hit the stores in October.

Reviving a really old post. But...how do these fit compared to Luxes/Surges? Are Bar Downs more or less volume?

The fit is practically the same from what I can tell. But that's comparing Bardown to Surge

 

Mine are still going strong, love the fit. Just a shame I can't track any Luxe gloves down to upgrade to the silver shield liner
