Looks like I'm flying in to yyz for the weekend. Thinking of bringing my gear, but only going to have time to skate Friday during the day. Anyone not working and know of any pickup close to Pearson?

 

daytime shinny at iceland arena is really good usually. It's fairly close to pearson. If you take the 427 to 401 west and get off at dixie then it's only about 10 mins to get there. I've always liked the shinny's at iceland arena even though i'm from Toronto. Great deal too, $8 bucks for a couple of hours, usually there's a flood.

If anybody gets lost and accidentally decides to drive north on 17 for 3 hours and ends up in North Bay, holler at your boy. hahaha

Where do they keep ice in the Bay during the summer? Double rinks?

I don't think doing anything for 3 hours is an accident lol

Yeah, the double rinks is open all summer with shinny a couple times a week, we usually have a group of guys that range from jr to cis to ncaa to semi pro and rent the ice a couple times a week, it ends up costing like 10 bucks a guy. 

 

the Ferris forum is the rink they use for ball hockey in the summer.

I always feel that when I play in normal clothes vs. full gear people it just makes me look better. Like I'm not trying as hard, even though I'm givin er haha
