NHL teams could care less that you want a pair of brand new Warrior Luxe/Franchise custom thumb loop super custom digi toilet paper soft palm with double added reinforced custom Warrior logo backhand padding gloves or a 17 flex double kreps curve upside down toe hook stick from your fav player/team. -Bakes

I have a hard time believing that this next series will be a short one guys. All of the Wings-Hawks regular season games went to shootouts, with the exception of one. Look for Detroit to get a few wins on the board this series, and maybe an upset? If any team could do it, it's the Wings. The Wings battled hard against the ducks, so look for them to do it again here against the Hawks.

If anything I think the travel hurt the ducks much more. It really looked like it in game 7. Wings are used to that travel so they know what to expect.
As for the Hawks, I agree with dmare. All season the wings took it to them. A few games where the Hawks tied it up last minute and won in OT/shootout. Expect it to be a good series. The wings need to step up their D, its been their downfall the last few years. With Jimmy playing the way he is, and Hank and Pavs doing their thing, theres no reason why they cant knock off the hawks. It will come down to special teams and production from the 3rd and 4th lines. IMO the wings have more depth and it showed against the Ducks. Brunner, Nyquist and Andersson will be the key to winning this series. And now that Babcock split up Pavs and Hank, its going to match up good with Kane, Toews, Hossa and Sharp. Like I said look for production from the 3rd and 4th lines and thats whats going to make the difference.
Hockey is Life. The rest is just details.

The Wings do not have more depth than the Hawks. That being said, i do think it will be a close series, just had to say Hawks in 4 out of anger
