Did another curve for those who have ever wondered if it was possible.

Very neutral Bauer Pro Stock LH Bure pro stock curve

Nearly flat with some curving:

Day 2: More curving:

I mark the areas where I will curve the blade, the darker areas are strong and shaded are weak pressure

You can see just how much force is used, blade is quite flexible under heat

Made my own custom curve out of a P88 One95 Wooden blade. I must say I like it quite a bit. Does it look like anything out there already?

Posted Image

It turned out to be an almost exact match of Toew's pro stock curve...like the P14 but with round toe

You should set up a forum based shop. Ppl send in standard pm9 curves (assuming you need a relatively straight curve to start with) and pay a set price. I'm suggesting because some people want customs but are too scared (me) to try it.

Just out of curiosity, how are you heating up the blades? I tried using a torch on one of my old wood blades but it ended up undoing the layers of the blade.
Phrasing people! Phrasing!!!

You turned a LH wood blade into a RH blade?
How did you heat the blade?

I actually picked up a wood blade today, Id like to try it as well.
A few years I tried with composite, and it didnt work has expected :censored:

I would've gladly sent you two wooden blades for that Bure pro stock :(

If your bag has wheels, you don't.

To answer people's questions:

I used a Heat Gun (set on high) and would heat the heel, mid, and toe and curve them one at a time.

For the RH P88 curve I mainly worked the mid and toe.

For the Bure LH, I used the guides as seen in the pic and worked slowly but got it to the middle.

And I still have two LH Pro Stock Blades left (one Bure, one Driver which is same as Bure) if you guys are interested in those blades that have not been tampered.

the problem with using a composite is that they break way too easy and just isn't worth it. Wood will always be malleable and I have definitely found a new hobby.

If some people are interested in having a custom curve, I may be interested in offering this service for you. I'd only work with wooden blades of course.

Got my batch of TPS blades in the other day. I've only used them twice but so far, so good. The feel is just like the pre-Sherwood sticks, which is exactly what I wanted.

That looks a lot like the Afanasenov? Its a really nice curve. I found the toe a bit much and the lie to high for me though.

It is an afenasankov, ad yeah I like it a lot mainly use it when playing defense or power play penalty kill for saucer passes and getting it high off the glass quick
