I'm looking for a destination on the Easton Coast ideally for a 1 week summer vacation with my wife this summer.

Anywhere in Canada or USA.

Only criteria: Needs to be on the beach

Any interesting ideas?

Myrtle Beach is fun.  The wife and I visited a few years ago just out of curiosity.  Costs are relativly low as well.  Lots of good golfing too.

Dupes-Cape Cod is the place to go! Close to Mtl...Beach, biking, lobster rolls, Cape Cod baseball games, whale watching, etc. Plenty of ice time if you feel the need to skate!

North Carolina beaches are all pretty nice, Myrtle is definitely a tourist hot spot with a lot to do. There are smaller beaches close by that may give you a more relaxed atmosphere without all the people cramped into one spot, but just a short drive to all the shops restaurants and night life Myrtle Beach has. NC Coast offers some amazing golf courses too.

Tampa is very nice but I don't know if you would consider it east coast. I do because it is close enough but on the west side of Florida, on the Gulf side. Still a very nice beach though

Cape Cod is not a great idea for a vacation. The water is too cold year round, and you can't really do much. Food is good though.

Shame you didn't say West Coast, I've done the entire West Coast several times on surfing trips, it's just heaven.

Thought about taking a cruise? Went to Key West FL. and then Cozumel. It was pretty cool and we stayed entertained the whole time.

Hey if you want the best "beach" on the East Coast check out Provo Turks and Caicos

JST- I didn't think that counted as east coast but I would second Turks. Amazing place. I was at Beaches which is a resort.

Yea...I've been to Beaches! Lots of great resorts on Provo. If Dupes is talking Cuba or Mexico...it's East Coast! My favorite beach on the right coast...amazing water!

Most beaches in Florida are pretty nice!

Always interested in anything that has to do with Kane or the Sens!
