got to disagree with Carcillo. Daniel Carcillo, Stanley Cup Champion is just so, so, so, so, so, wrong.
although Andrew Ference, Two-Time Stanley Cup Champion wouldn't have been any better.
anytime i think of ference possibly winning anything it just makes me feel gross, at least carcillo is personable to the fans, ference is a good all around prick

I suspect Carcillo is a lot like Matt Barnaby, if he plays for your team then you love him but if not, you can't stand him. if Carcillo had never been a Flyer I might feel differently about him.

I wouldnt go as far as even saying Carcillo played for the Hawks. He did nothing when he was in the lineup, his name is on the roster, but he sure as hell didn't help win the cup. At least Ferrence did something for his team and this is coming from a Hawks fan. Carcillo needs to be gone.

A prick who cares, these guys don't want to be your friend. I can think of more than half the NHL who are bigger assholes than Ference.

I'll take Ference over Carcillo any day and I've been a Hawks fan since 19 fucking 72 !!!!!!!!
Assholes ?? Hmmmm ??? Marchand is an asshole, he's also a little fucking rat bastard, but I'd have no problem seeing him in a Hawks uniform.

i can only think of one bigger asshole than Ference, you all think he's a god, bitchnasty. Ference is a good player, but that doesnt mean i'll ever like him, respect him? sure.
Carcillo was the shit in phoenix, giving him up to philly for a concussed guy was a mistake, he played balls out and scored too, once he went to philly they limited him to just being nightly irritatement instead of trying to squeeze everything around his game out of him.
Also players who i hate dont have to pertain to other teams, trust me theres plenty players in Montreal and phoenix that i can't stand.

I don't necessarily think Ference is an asshole, might be but for me I just don't think Ference is that good and never has been. one of the happiest days ever was when he left Pittsburgh.
when the Pens won in 09 I was shocked at the following statement that would be forever true: "Hall Gill, Stanley Cup Champion"

I for one am sad to see Ference go. I think he was a leader in the locker room and a stand up guy in the community. I liked his physical brand of hockey and I never really saw him as a liability out there. A lot better than Hal Gill was that's for sure shoeshine!

We all have seen star players or any player get moved to a team and you think he's shit. Then a trade is made and well Ference fit and became part of the Bruins style. Top 4 dman on a team who killed penalties like it was full strength and held Pitts to 2 goal series. Won a cup.
Ference is FAR from shit! He's not the Ference you seen in Pitts!

I was there too but checked out pretty quick. Too many bandwagoners and people from the suburbs looking for a party.
