My ai9 pro stock started blade rattle today. Thought these were a true one piece?

Retails yes, pro stock could be any number of things, the paint job means nothing.

If the code on you stick starts with an "F" (FC, FV,) it stands for fused. So that's an automatic give away that it's not a true one piece.

Like Buzz said, a pro can have any number of specs on their sticks. Also, just because the blade is rattling, I don't think that's an automatic sign that it's a two piece.

The code starts with an E. when I flex the stick on the it makes no cracking noises. Only when I tap it on the ice, blade or butt it makes noise. Haven't had any other issues with the other ai9's I've had.

Does it have a plastic end plug? That would be the first place I'd start.

I have one that just has three lines:

H? (sakic curve number)

T

85

But it's definitely not a true one-piece and felt much different initially (I specifically remember this) than the retail one I had.

after looking at the stick a little bit more, I think the foam insert in the blade went to shit. If I grab the heel and the toe and pull on the tow against the cuve of the blade I hear a bunch of cracking.

stick code reads

M

80

F

E00271

V01

SC

That's common with AI9s.
