He's definitely one of the more expensive sellers on SLS. I've never even bothered, as pretty much any time he had something I wanted I was able to find it for cheaper elsewhere

You guys should be happy someone like him is giving us access to Avs gear. He obviously isnt getting the gear cheap. I appreciate him putting in the time, money, and effort to consistently get new stuff.

I'm not a very big Avs fan (not the team, not the gear) but the rare times I have wanted a piece of Avs gear I have had very little trouble finding it elsewhere.

Not sure what he pays for it, but I know that one of the draws of pro stock gear is that it is typically cheaper unless it is rare. Avs reverse retro pants are rare right now, but in 2 months there will be plenty on the market. Unless you're drooling over those pants and must have them now, I don't see the point in purchasing them at that price point when there will be plenty available after the season. And if they keep the color way then there will be a bunch available in the coming years.

Alas, the beauty of the free market is that the market will determine the reality. I don't think the market supports a lot of his prices, but if they sell then great, I'm wrong. However, the few things from that seller that I have in my favorites have not sold in over a year. The price hasn't gone down and they haven't sold. As long as he's not leaking money on storage costs, then good for him. But most people here know the pro stock market well enough. Anyway, you're right, gratitude never hurts

Considering how rare these pants are, Im ok with that price. If they would of been $300+ than thats another story.

Some of you guys weren't around 10+ years ago when you couldn't click a button and have hard to find pro stock gear delivered to your front door.

 

I remember the days of paying $200+ for a pair of gloves that were USED that some guy picked up at an equipment sale in a city 2,000 miles away from you.  Now you can buy brand new Bauer and Warrior gloves for less than that shipped to your house.  There have always been cheap pro stock options, but it was never brand new gear like this.  Do I think $250 is worth it for a pair of Avs alternate pants?  Nah.  It's not my thing.  But I'm sure there are guys super excited and willing to pay that for something you probably wouldn't be able to find 10 years ago.

Bauer is actually a bit tougher to find, but yeah, Warrior and CCM are definitely very available. But all of it is really pro stock, but whatever. Regardless, the market has changed. It definitely used to be harder to track down PS gear. But it's not anymore... It's all relative to today's market.

For example, above seller has TBL praccy for sale at $170. It's a fair price for sure, definitely not a rip off. However, my brother just was in FL and grabbed me a couple. He paid $110 plus tax per jersey, mic team issued practice jersey. I don't know how seller is about offers, but I would never send him an offer for $110 on a $170 jersey. Yet that's what I paid for it. So obviously there are cheaper options out there. We can all just agree to disagree. I wouldn't wear red pants anyway, so it's a moot point

Im convinced that 13in harvard gloves have never been produced. I always, always... see 14 and 15s. Its been years Ive been on the hunt for a pair that isn't completely obliterated
