Hey Guys,

I apologize if this question was asked before, however...was wondering if anyone would know a way to go about getting an order from Bauer or Reebok or whichever company to replicate a custom patterned blade for you....i'm a fan of the Kovalev pro stock blade, same one as David Perron uses, just want to be able to get that blade on any stick....if i send the blade in will it be replicated or do certain companies like warrior and such already have the custom pattern in stock?

Thanks

The company you want to go with would need to have the mold for that pattern.

If your bag has wheels, you don't.

Warrior would probably be your best bet. Since moving to Reebok, Perron has changed up his blade a decent amount (bigger toe curve)

If i send in the Kovy blade, will they be able to create a mold for the pattern? Or should i strictly try focusing on contacting RBK and Warrior?

Thank you, i didn't know that...i just keep noticing the banana blade in his videos, was assuming he kept it the same since his warrior days.

I'm also a fan of Kovalev's pattern. I haven't contacted anyone at Warrior, but I got the impression that you wouldn't be able to get any custom patterns at retail beyond what they offer in the customizer. I think I got that from reading through MSH's Warrior Customizer thread.

I've thought about spending the money to get the blade molded by some company or other, but still don't have anywhere near the money needed, so haven't thought about it too seriously.

For righties: maybe you would still be able to order Reebok blades with Perron's pattern through PSHG like someone on MSH did a little over a year ago.

I talked to they guy that did it. I might still have the conversation deep in my MSH PMs. I'm pretty sure he said the cost was like $80-$100 per blade and you have to order at least 12. You also need to provide the curve code of the pattern you want. I've seen at least 3 or 4 different version's of Perron's curve, ranging from Drury-style with a little bit of toe to a giant toe curve.

$80-100 per blade...damn. Talking that per blade makes the $1500 mold fee not seem such an issue anymore.

I dug up the old thread and he said the blades were about $86 CAD each after shipping and taxes, so whatever that is in USD.

Sher-Wood can replicate anything if you have a example.

I think they might only offer wood tho.
