Got a ticket and was one of the first people in. Turns out they are only doing auction this year. Pretty pissed after they promoted all this equipment

was supposed to be up for sale. Hand full of stuff going for ridiculous prices.

Was the same BS last year --- no equipment sales, just try to gouge more money with auctions.  Last year all the gloves they had for auction were completely beat up.

The prices of gear gloves in General have become so blown up I don't blame the teams for letting it go auction to memorabilia collectors. Hossa is built up to be a god on this forum haha. He's a top rate NHLer but his glove spec is the reason he's famous here.

Aside from his cuff and palm I think the prices are high. Does anyone actually use his gloves that ou own of him?

I just think a bar could be set with this group where a top notch glove is $200 and an actual game worn proof can surpass that.

I don't know what his gloves go for at sales pass yrs. so this is just a rant from me. I know I always dreamed of owning his mitts but I can't justify paying over $150 $200 pushing it for gloves.

I completely agree with this. What is funny is the market is flooded more than ever with gloves, pants, socks, etc. but yet prices are higher than ever. That's why I find myself not really buying anything anymore...although I did pick up a pair of Kings APX gloves for $85.00
