Here's my advice, if you're looking to see what you can get and hopefully get back about what you paid and don't need to sell, then post it and see what happens.
eBay might work out better for you, because in my experience, there are far more guys looking for "deals" in these forums lately than guys willing to pay another collector what that collector paid. I'm one of the people here who will pay another collector a fair price without a bunch of haggling over a few bucks, and I've found that unless I'm willing to get killed on the resale, the higher end stuff is sitting on this forum a whole lot longer than it did in the past. Selling high end stuff as a set here isn't the easiest thing to do, unless you're patient and really aren't in a rush. One would think it is a cool way to go, but you're really looking for someone with deep pockets here, and more and more, it seems like there's a lot of people here trying to buy equipment with money raised by mowing lawns. LOL. (No offense to those mowing lawns, it is good work and anyone working a summer job has my respect - just saying that you're not likely to drop $1K on a set of gear all at once.) Good luck with the sale and welcome to the forum.
