My retail stage 2 arrived today and it's a 2 inches shorter than my first gen uncut rbz. Anyone else notice a difference in length?

Is it the same flex?

Same flex and curve. Seems strange to me.

Maybe ccm is re-doing their heights. Check in the catalogue, maybe you can find some info in there.

Okay just making sure it wasn't a mistake. I know me too. Lost the puck a few times my first skate thinking my reach was longer due to habit.

all the retail sticks are getting shorter and shorter... just the trend I guess

They're also getting lighter and ligher. Every gram counts, I guess.

lighter and lighter, yet the durability is still garbage for some...

That's why I won't buy eastons anymore. Rbz seems to hold up the best IMO. We will see how durable the stage 2 is with fewer channels.

I've had mine for a while now and it's taken lots of abuse it's lasting me far longer than the bauers I would normally use an have been very happy with the durability it's prolly the strongest stick being made right now except maybe the rib core cause I haven't used it to compare

Shorter sticks?

I love the Bauer retail height, or at least when I bouhgt the x:60. Not sure if they've made them shorter or not. it's perfect for me. I am about 6'1 so I dunno, just like my long sticks. "Insert Pierre joke here"

That was what I was used to the Bauer retail height. So I would cut all sticks to that length and now the stage 2 is about a inch shorter than Bauer retail.
