Also, the code says “1S” instead of “1S 01,” but I’m not sure if that means anything.

Hi
Curious
Got a Bauer 1x 2016
Says 1xse on the paint Job on the shaft (not the code)
Inside shaft says
Apx4 se
1x se 05
Is it just a retail stick with reinforced shaft?
its a 1X with thicker shaft walls usually made for College or Euro teams with a lower budget. I have a few 1N SE sticks and they are just slightly stiffer than their non SE counterparts.

I ordered what I thought was a low kick reckoner from a vendor on sideline swap and this ultra tacks showed up instead. The curve and player are correct but I'm worried it's a mid kick stick which doesn't really jive with my style. Can anyone help me decipher if this is still a low kick stick with just an ultra tacks paint job?

I think it's carbon. I have an APX2SE stick and it it's barely heavier than a non-SE stick.
I've owned and used a lot of the SE version sticks due to limited options available to me (until recently). I think the tech is the same but just more wraps? I find them all to be stiffer and noticeably blade heavier so they play differently. I can vouch that they are tough sticks and can handle some abuse though!!
For recent example I have the 1S 17' in SE and non-SE. The SE is 25-30gms heavier and is blade heavy. The non-SE version feels lighter, better balanced and plays better (for me).
I've also had the original 1N in SE and non-SE, same deal there. I didn't see what all the hype about the 1N was until I used the non-SE version (so much better).
I can't speak for the 1X Lite SE as I haven't used 1X since it originally came out back in 2014 and I only used the SE version. I suspect the trend is the same though.
I don't plan to pick up any more SE version sticks

Anyone know what a 'W' code on a CCM Super Tacks 2.0 pro stock indicates? I've seen the chart that explains the shaft codes but it doesn't include a 'W':
C - Contoured Shaft (Round)
F - Round and thicker than C
T - Traditional Shaft (Square, like a totalone)
Tr - Traditional slightly Concave
Any ideas?
Here's a pic of the stick, its a 65 Flex, and a similar 75 flex 'T'.

I ordered some CCM customs last year and this was their description of the ‘W’ shaft shape:
Huh, interesting that they describe the SV as "ribcor" build. Definitely plays a bit differently than my reckoners/triggers, but I never used the original ribcor so...maybe? Lol

That makes sense. Seems W is a slightly smaller shaft size, which in this case is paired with an Intermediate 65 flex rating.I ordered some CCM customs last year and this was their description of the ‘W’ shaft shape:
I’ll have to try measuring the two and see what the difference is in circumference. It must be subtle - nothing like the Intermediate shaft on the Alpha QX Pro for example - that feels a lot smaller than a standard Sr shaft - closer to a Junior shaft.
