Anyone know how to decode true sticks?

Nope. The only thing on the stick is the player ID and curve variant number. I can check my customs tomorrow to see if there's anything in the butt end but I don't remember there being anything.

Custom everything.

Was wondering same thing the other day when looking at a few. They just had a sticker on top with player name, flex, and type of stick. But the stickers all matched the graphics so not sure if the ones at the store just happened to be like that or if all True sticks are painted the same as the construction.

Hi all -- in reading the OP and most of this thread, i see the following:

A - XXX Lite SE*
A2 - 2 Piece One85

A26 - APX

A26B - APX

A42A - APX SE*

So, having just purchased an Bauer Nexus 1N with 'A42', should i assume I have an APX variant? (blade and shaft finish differences?)

Saw in another thread, that A42 is an APX but heavier + thicker walls, but it wasn't confirmed.

Thanks in advance.

Yes A42 is a SE model A26. More durable thicker side walls heavier bla bla bla.

Keep in mind that the codes don’t specify exactly what blade is on the stick, only the shaft carbon and flex profile. A G3 can have any blade core and still be just g3

Used the 1NXL tonight. It's pretty damn light, so that's probably what the XL stands for.

It feels the same weight to be honest. But thanks for reminding me, I’ll bring the ADV to the post office too and weigh it there.

Anyone able to figure this out?

Bauer

P88-L

67

1S-03G

S171S

Curious about the 1S-03G than anything, haven't seen another one with that code.

Generally “S171S” indicates a retail build 1S. Maybe 03G are shaft dimensions? A Sr 67 flex? Or longer intermediate shaft?

Good Idea; Whistling while you work.

Bad Idea; Whistling while you eat.

My Hansen stick the code on it is

1684-18

82

BR0LR3

Does anyone know what that is? I know 82 is the flex, its a 1X. I broke the stick a couple weeks ago and can't find any Jannick Hansen sticks.

Can someone tell me what is behind the 2.0 and 3.0 from
Bauer?

1N2.0
1X3.0
1S2.0. Etc?

Most likely generation, i.e. the 2015 1X was the 1.0, the 2016 was the 2.0, the 1X Lite was the 3.0, etc etc.

Similar to how the first gen 1X had “APX3” inside top of the shaft and the second gen had "APX4".
