I have a RS atm and a warrior dynasty and i prefer the pop of the warrior over the RS.

Yah I have the problem with the blade always going soft. My RS replacement from warranty is going to break in the same spot on the blade as my first one did. All my pro stock Easton blades have gone soft and crunchy. It makes sense though because I really like to lean into my shots and shoot of my toe so there's extra stress on the blade but it's weird how your son who uses a Junior's blade went soft seeing as how he probably can't get that much power and actually lean into the stick to shoot.

I've had the soft and crunchy thing happen a couple of times - once with the green Synergy ST and once with an SE16. But they were both after about a year of healthy service, so I wasn't too rattled.

I can honestly say best bang for your buck twig is the pro stock se16!!! Those things freakin last!!! Just parted with two pro stock s19's though and they lasted a while too!!

I don't think the RS blades going soft is anything new for Easton. I can't remember the last time I had an Easton that the blade didn't go soft on. It's not just retail either, I've had numerous pro stocks that went soft on me. I've been using pro stock Warriors and Bauers for the past 2 years or so and haven't had nearly as many blades go soft.

Hmmmm I wonder! Maybe might try out an APX! I'm trying ccm CL SCL and they just seem too heavy!!

I've been using pro stock Warrior Widows for a long time now and don't have any complaints. I was using pro stock Bauer T1s and 60s before this.

I havet tried the APX twigs, but a buddy of mine had his heel split on it after 2 weeks. I'm sure I'll get one here soon though.

I always use Prostock twigs & warrior has bin good for me all around, probably the most durable twig along with the reeboks but ya no luck for me on Easton's :(
