Only sign of wear worth mentioning is shown in the interior photo, below the label where the belt pulled away from the liner slightly. I actually did it when I was pulling the tag off the day I bought them, and it hasn't gotten any worse. The belt is still fully attached to the liner. No smell whatsoever.
