I noticed the switch too. I was hoping to pick up the newer version, but I doubt they'll be put up for sale.

Yep. I live about 10 minutes from the K-Rock centre.

It's my first year in Kingston. I'll report back with what I find!

I have been to a few of them, this is the first time they are announcing used stick sales; Hopefully they are well priced. 

 

You can always count on them clearing out 9k girdles 85 percent of them are XL and a few L and and maybe a few m. They were well used (light rips, hockey smell!) but incredibly cheap like 30 dollars I think. much cheaper then some of the peckers selling used for100 bucks on ebay. The shells were all trashed thou, 3 or 4 board burns per side.

 

The gloves have always been disappointing as well as their protective. For eg last year they sold 3 yr old gloves with holes and rotten palms and not even matching pairs.  they had 3 pairs of shins, all of which were cracked in the moulded plastic... They had one set of goalie body armour.  no elbows, or shoulders or buckets.

 

They often sell practice jerseys pretty cheap thou, like 35 or 40 bucks if I can recall, ohl labled, rbk edge version 1's with the standard colour combos, baby blue, white, yellow etc..

Terrible sale. Gloves were in worse shape than I am. Smelt worse than a dead skunk. The only sticks were goalie sticks.

There were more people waiting in line for WWE tickets than there were at the sale.

lol...I told ya! I went at 1100, no skates, no sticks, old unsafe equipment..why in the f*** do they sell broken shinpads??...5+ year old vector 8 gloves were good for keeping the raccons out of the garbage. I spoke to one of the guys there he said they only had a dozen reebok sticks for sale anyway.  kinda of sums up there season this sale!!!

That sucks my friend went and they didn't even have skates for sale at all. One pair of large 9k that were decent some brand new visors and a few 20ks and Ai9 sticks all the gloves were garbage

I know last year the reebok sticks they had were retail, and over $150.

fronts equipment sale this sunday. Sorry for the late notice, First time they advertise used sticks and new gloves. From previous sales  get to the krock centre early and line up at the fronts-shop entrance. Stuff goes quick!
