I was going to ask this question in the skate thread, but might as well do in a new topic.
Im thinking about putting some LS2's on my MLX, but Im not sure it's really worth it.

Is there a big weight difference between both holders?
I know the holes are the exactly the same, but other then that?
Anyone has done it?

For the ones who do not know what is a MLX skate, check out their site: http://www.mlxskates.com/

a few weeks ago one of my teammates bought the MLX skates with black LS2 Tuuks that fastbrother7 was selling on MSH (http://www.modsquadh...7-ls2s-mounted/) so last night I compared his with mine which still have the MLX holders. imo, his skate was just a little heavier than mine but that could be simply because his skates are one size bigger than mine. I don't think you'll feel a significant weight difference but what do I know? when I switched to MLX I had been skating in 10 year old Vapor 8's which (comparatively) are like bricks. :)

always looking for non Reebok L & XL shells......

hi, I don't really want to hijack the thread but here's the thing, I'm about to convert a boot and I really like the MLX system of screws instead of rivets, and I would like to do that for my next conversion. Do you guys know what is used (t-nuts at the other end or what not) so I can figure out a way to do the mounting myself...
thank you!
I'd really appreciate a picture of the inside part of the outsole (below the footbed) so if someone could just snap a quick picture I'd be very happy as it gives me the overall idea of the work required etc..
