So I sold all of my pro bags and I'm looking for a high quality, durable, low-key pro style carry bag. I really want internal skate pockets, internal accessory pocket, and an ID window. I've narrowed my options down to these. I know a lot of you like the Warrior ones, but there are two. Which one is better?

1. JRZ E-Light

2. Warrior Pro

3. Warrior Pro Player

4. Bauer Team Premium

Also, the fewer the logos the better, which makes me lean towards the JRZ, True, Bauer, or CCM.

I use the Bauer bag I love it, mine does not  have skate pockets but that dose not bother me because it is big enough to just toss my equipment in and go, the only complaint I have is the carrying straps are a lil short IMO. Also had a few people hating on the shinny texture that it is made out of, but I like it haha.

I have the JRZ bag but without the skate pockets. It really is a high quality bag and large enough to comfortably hold anything I want (couple extra pieces of gear like jerseys and gloves or what-have-you).

That's good to hear, because I'm leaning towards the JRZ. I just wish I could do some minor tweaks and see better pics of the pockets.

didn't think the ccm or bauer pro bags had internal skate pockets?  just to add to the confusion, what about the easton pro bag?

Yeah, the CCM and Bauers don't have skate pockets so they're lower on my list. Didn't consider the Easton because I've heard that they fall apart.

that's too bad about the easton as i was considering it as my next bag.  is this a rampant problem or just a few isolated incidents?

I've had the Warrior pro bag for awhile now and I love it. it has internal skate pockets on each end and a 3 segmented accessory pocket that runs the length of the bag. I play 2 to 3 times a week and it's also been to several travel tourneys via airplane. the thing is a beast!

Here was the e mail:

Mammoth Backers,

We've got some good news and some not so good news. First we'll give you the not so good news. As you know, our plan was to have these bags shipped to you at some point in September. Due to long lead times with hardware and materials, as well as production scheduling delays at our local cut and sew shop, we have been told we are still eight weeks away from delivery of the first run of bags.

This pushes the ship date out to early November. We have instructed the cut and sew shop to manufacture just the Kickstarter bags (60 bags) first so we can try and get those out as soon as possible. We are working hard to make this happen by mid to late October but can't promise that earlier date will happen because it is so difficult to estimate manufacturing time on new products.

The good news is the final "gold sample," which the production bags are based on, looks incredible. Lars had the opportunity to meet up with Michael Grabner of the New York Islanders (and Spokane Chiefs alum) this past week to show him the bag and get some input. Grabner was super excited about the look, finish and size of the bag.

The final piece of news is that the official final size of the bag is 36"x18x18". We increased the size a bit due to popular demand from Kickstarter backers.

Again, apologies for the delay on getting the first run of bags completed. We are working hard to ship them as soon as possible without sacrificing quality. We're looking forward to drinking beers and shipping them out to you in the near future. Feel free to email us with any questions.

Cheers,

Erik and Lars

p.s. Enjoy these latest photos of the final "gold sample." This is what your bag will look like!

(sorry, no pix here)

Looks like an awesome bag for the $$$. I have two bottle openers. If I wouldn't have bought something else, I would have bought this bag.

I decided to go with the JRZ because I didn't want all of the Warrior logos plastered on my bag.  Customized the colors and added skate/accessory pockets.  I'll review it once it shows up.  Thanks for all the input!

Look forward to seeing the bag.  I was in this same dilemma a couple of months ago, and was deciding between these same bags.  Ultimately I went with the Eagle.  It doesn't have internal pockets (not a big deal for me), nor an ID window (which would have been nice, but not essential).  I got a good deal on it which swayed my decision, otherwise I would have gone with the JRZ.  Warrior would have been a third choice, though I wasn't a fan of the mesh, the amount of white (I wanted solid black), amount of logos and their bags are now made offshore vs. in Canada like they use to (JRZ & Eagle still are).

So far so good...these bags should last for quite a while.  I'm sure you'll like your JRZ!

possibly just graphics. I haven't been able to look at the pro player in person yet but my other guess is that the newer pro player bag only has skate pockets and not cargo pockets.
