Is their any difference between the Pro stock 4500 and the retail version besides that it doesn't have the bauer logo on the side ?

Just curious...

You've removed them? If so...How? They're printed...

Some of the pro stock 5100s come in a size called "ML", which is a Medium Large.
I've got one and love it. I was going to buy a retail 5100 but the Medium fit too tight and the Large just fit too odd, but this pro stock "ML" fits me great.

I removed them on my old one .. I went to get one and they were sold out. Anyone ever take out the insides of the 4500 and wash them ?

yea i have this graffiti remover spray stuff, i spray it on a rag and just rub the helmet till its all off, works like a charm

i got a heat gun that i use to remove to decals

and if you put the helmet in hot water, it will warm up the factory glue on the foam enuff that you can pull it out without ripping it, then i just re apply with hot glue gun

i just cleaned up a white nike style 4500 like federov use to wear, it looks great with some nice new white loops and red numbers

The VN pads in 4500s are glued in. I'm sure you can take them out, wash the pads, then reglue it. I think it's easier to just open the helmet all the way and use some soapy water and clean it that way.

I'm certain the retail 4500s are made overseas with the Pro Stock made in Canada. Unless I'm wrong. I have a 4500 Pro Stock in black.

Technically it is a 0004, not 4500 ;)

If your bag has wheels, you don't.

Oh I think you're right. I noticed all the pro stock helmets I got from the Thrashers are made in Canada.

I used nail polish remover and fine steel wool and it took about 30 seconds of gentle scrubbing to get the logos off. And I just held the helmet over the stove for about ten seconds to get off the warning stickers.
