those are two separate events
the most recent event they called off the wedding and I had already shot the engagement photos....so I had her sign those rights over to me. She originally wanted no distribution of the photos.

What did you take the pictures with HockeySavants? Nice zoom but a little blurry so it must be a great zoom with probably a doubler or not enough light/speed to fix the action. Crop maybe? Never the less these are great since its a pain to shoot in a hockey game specially in a nhl arena where they do not allow reflex cameras (at least in Montreal they don't).

I used the 55-250mm Canon IS lens, I was actually way up in the nosebleeds.
I shot them with my 20D, ISO 800 f/13 1/200-500.
Bridgestone Arena (Nashville) does allow SLRs but lenses cannot exceed 5" so that was the biggest I could take.

maverick72, thanks I didnt use any external flashes during KHL games. In 2011, when Slovakia hosted World Championship in icehockey, there were some external flashes built around arena, but as far as I know, only official photographer of IIHF could used them. I am using EOS 7D with lens from Canon 70-200/2,8 L (no IS)
