I'm just curious, the folks here that slam PSH every time they list new Warrior gloves, what are your thoughts when a group of Bauers or CCMs show up like the Preds gloves? are they ordering SMU Bauers as well?

They usually get 1 or 2 pairs of each Bauer/CCM glove and not 30... so I’m going to go with no.

Nothing Pro Bauer is being mass produced specifically for PSH.

At this point I have to wonder how and why Warrior hasn't reopened their Custom Glove Operations like they previously had with the Canada factory. Warrior is obviously making more pairs for PSH, so why not just revive the glove customizing options like the old days? Maybe you don't let the options go crazy but clearly they can offer certain options and not have it be an issue churning out mitts. Partner with PSH and have all the orders go through PSH before going to Warrior and PSH can manage the quality control apsect of what the customer is asking for.

Prostock hockey is already selling out some 'team stock' gloves at $189.99 so you have to assume if someone gets a custom pair made from overseas they're gonna gladly pony up an extra $50 or $60 bucks if not more.

Just my $.02 but you'd probably save some money on inventory PSH and in the long run PSH and Warrior probably make more money.

For the most part they are making multiples of each pair so it is worth their time. One-offs with custom options (beyond color) is the issue that they started to take due to the time and man-power ($$$) they were investing in each pair with unique options. Their current custom program was what they came to as a "compromise" to still offer a somewhat-custom program. If you watch Pat's Twitter page he still gets fairly stock gloves from Warrior and alters them to individual players' specs. So, they are not even offering the old-style custom option to their pros from the looks of it.

Even if they couldn’t offer full custom program, what I think they’d be smart to do (which a couple shops have done), is to order player spec goves in various colorways as opposed to the team stocks that they do, which in most cases aren’t the most desirable specs. Say for example, panarin specs in a bunch of different colorways, etc.

The current Warrior custom program is....I don't have anything nice to say so I won't say anything at all. And the overseas Warrior Factory has been pumping out gloves with 'Old-style custom option to their pros' for a few years now. Pretty sure we've all seen and purchased gloves from PSH that have Easton cuffs, screened Cuff rolls, Carbon pinky, different palms, palms/gussets taken in, and those gloves have never made a stop in Quebec at CPP.

So what I am talking about is an option for a 'Premium Pro Stock Customization' program offered exclusively with a partnership between PSH & Warrior. Like I said, you don't offer every option under the sun just what is do-able in the overseas factory and that is in their wheelhouse and that they won't have an issue producing. Or maybe like Frankie said you can choose a certain player Spec glove and get them in a different NHL team colors, say Pacioretty gloves in Rangers colors or something.

I'm gonna say Warrior probably moved operations specifically because of man-power issues & the cost of making gloves in Canada versus overseas, so I am sure under the right circumstances a program like this would probably make Warrior & PSH a buck or 3. Again, its just an idea but based on the relationship PSH has established with Warrior it seems doable and also the natural evolution of their product offering going from 'wear what the pro's wear' to 'design your own like the pro's wear'.

Anyone who picked up one of these, I hope you like super boxy shaft dimensions. I bought one of the Lovejoy CXs they had a while back, and it was a full on box shape. I called PSH this morning to see if these new sticks were the same, and they confirmed they were.

I can't believe this website. I have been looking for a pair of 14" jofa shin pads. I signed up for their email alerts and I also check the website frequently mon/wed/Fri mornings for 2 years straight! I fail to understand how as soon as I see this item posted before I can even add it to my cart it is sold out....guaranteed these will be posted on eBay in a few days or maybe hours at $300, what a joke. They have lost a loyal customer that is willing to pay their crazy Canadian shipping prices.

Sorry just ranting. Probably should have read through before pressing send. But ah well thats life, and I'm not new I actually have bought lots from them and I have enjoyed their website and their service, just seems like no matter what I do I can never be the person who "beats other people to it" when it comes to jofa/ccm/rbk protective. If anyone has any tips I'm welcome to that.
