It's odd these are on the old overseas Covert pants, not the newer Covert QRLs.  The older Coverts have a diagonal stitching seam across the thigh, and the logo seems to be too big to fit entirely below it, unless they move it way over towards the stripe.  It looks fake and silly.

Considering the Sharks used only CCM for the shells and pants for the retro look, it does look odd at first but i still grabbed a pair since you can not find any pairs of shells or pants anywhere.

Got my pants today from PSH. No way the sharks had these ordered. These are custom made pants. Don't get me wrong these pants look great and the logo position is not that bad in person. If you don't mind the logo being off I recomend getting these.

just curious but what other than logo position makes you say that?

The logo on a lot of the qr1 pants was off because of that stitch pattern that runs on the thigh board. I remember David dasharnais when he was with habs the logos were way off centre like the sharks pants. Also some oilers that wore qr1 pants also were way off. Don't know if it was on the mic versions or when they switched overseas but there was a while there where the logos looked really off.

I've been wanting to try out the QRL so I grabbed three of these.  Will be coming from a Ribcore Reckoner with a Hossa clone pattern, so the transition should be interesting....

The fact that the sharks didnt even use warrior pants when they wore their retros. CCM pants or shells used.

yeah but that doesn't mean that prototypes and samples weren't made &/or ordered. it's entirely possible that logo placement is why the team went with strictly CCM pants/shells. btw, I can't find any good pictures on Google. what did Pavelski wear?

the entire hockey world knows about PSH so why would they risk getting sued for copyright infringement by getting SMU pants made? hell, I have a pair or prototype Warrior Beer League gloves that were never sold at retail because Molson could've sued:

I'm just happy to be able have bought some of the stuff they've sold.  Im pretty sure i would have never been able to get a pair of devils retro pants, let alone a size small with out paying an arm or leg.

I had a Bauer retro Ducks shell, same thing they went all
CCM but the samples are out there.
