I thought I'd start a thread based on hockey related items for sale that you see out there that just aren't what they seem to be. Pro stock, Non pro stock and anything else in between.

Here is one I found on my local craigslist that was good for a laugh {at least I thought so anyway}

It's a promotional stick for Chunky soup. I'm guessing the sticks came left and right. But yes, Gilmour was a lefty.

I saw on a local Kijiji ad, a "Criss Pronger" Bauer Supreme wood stick. the description was "one of the best sticks out there in my opinion, same one Criss Pronger uses to score top shelf!" and it was being sold for 90 bucks....

At first I thought it was a typo, but he spelt it that way twice. Fairly sure Pronger hasnt used a wood stick in years.

Its always funny when people think because a retail stick has a players curve, that means they use THAT stick hahah.
