people like us buy socks to play in but gloves are bought (in theory) to get autographed and put in a display case, same with sticks and jerseys can be worn to games or hung on the wall. in other words, they're selling this stuff as memorabilia not as equipment.

Good point... I'm not a collector either, everything I buy, I intend to use...

It sucks to see collectors drive up the prices of stuff we just want to use.

Got ya - ya that makes sense.
Still though - they're out there somewhere - with enough digging around I bet they can be found.
I mean, if OJ Simpson can get away with murder...

Team have equipment contracts with different suppliers... The Rangers give Steiner Sports all their stuff... They are probably sitting in their warehouse somewhere... You aren't going to find them on PSHG or anything like that... Not trying to be negative just want you to realize they are in other people control
