Hello friends of 2K!

I will be heading down from Montreal to Boston for the Winter Classic this year and I hope some Boston members can help me out.

Are there any great hotels or places to rent a room I should be aware of/check?

Are there any "must see" tourist things (restaurants as well) we should check out while we are down there?

Any help and input is appreciated!

I should be at the game as well and am 'local' so to speak, live about a half hour away in town by the TD Garden.

If you're staying close to or in Boston I know all the good restaurants and tourist spots. If you're staying down by Gillete I'm not sure what else there is besides the stadium, ha.

Also if we have a big enough 2K Contingent and you guys want I'll work on getting ice to put a little skate together too.

If you go out to eat in town hit the Capital Grille, and if available still go to the top of the Prudential Building and you see over the city on all 4 sides. If that game is on New Years Day there is always the New Years bash intown but take the T, public transportation.

Why not try AirBnB? I used it recently in Toronto, and got a 39th floor condo 500m from the CN Tower/Rogers Centre for under 200 a night. You could easily rent small apartments for way cheaper.

Hmm, I could charge admission!

Maybe we can get a 2K tailgate too for pre & post game festivities?

I know some of us have gotten tickets already but I just saw tickets go on sale on the 20th at 10 AM.

Are we still planning on doing a 2K meetup/Tailgate? We should get a roll call going of who's going and try to plan this out.

Like I mentioned previously if anyone wants to get a skate going I can work on getting ice for us too.
