I got shoulder surgery after finishing club college hockey and I'm the only guy on my team that is wearing shoulder pads in a A level men's league. I wanted to keep the caps on and remove the arm guards like I have seen some NHL grinders do for more mobility. I feel this is a better protection option then going to a classic Sherwood, CCM, or Bauer shoulder pad set-up. Sorry I refuse to spend $200 on rbz shoulders for men's league when those fall apart after a season or 2. Thoughts
