I did a similar one but only one side and my stitching was all hand... Must be nice to have the best tools!

just look up a Singer 29K used sewing machine, its usually for less than 600 bucks and has a long thin arm, or a con sew sewing machine with a post instead of an arm. used are always fairly cheap.
I do my repairs by hand, its hard, but I've gotten pretty quick about it.
