The annual Sharks game-used / team-issued equipment sale will take place at Sharks Ice at San Jose on Saturday, May 19 from 9:00am to Noon. In keeping with historical practices, it will take place in the "connector-area", located at the front of the facility and to the right of the main/public access doors.

Hockey sticks, protective equipment, practice and game sweaters and socks, team-issued merchandise and apparel, skates, goalie equipment and much more! A letter of authenticity will be provided on all game-used jerseys and helmets.

Items purchased are strictly for personal use and/or collection. Purchases can not be made on behalf of others. Any items purchased at this sale are done so under the agreement that they are not to be re-sold to collectors or other outside parties.

I'm hoping the turnout is low since the Sharks have had such a crappy season, relatively speaking. Anyone know any Sharks Ice employees that can get us in early?

Thanks for the info! Do they usually release a price list or at least a somewhat detailed list of what they have? I'd be interested in some goalie equipment (sticks, pads/pants maybe) and a stick or two if anyone is in the area and was planning on heading down.

Taken from HFBoards...

Top of the line sticks go for 150 some of the ones just lower are 100 and some lower 1 pieces can be had for 30 bucks, if your right handed you have no shot in the public session except for the bad sticks with curves no one wants(getzlaf/lidstrom)

Signed sticks are like 200+ for top guys I believe
Helmets will depend on the helmet but like an s19 probably 60-75? some helmets will come with the visor free
Shinpads are like 40, jofa elbow pads 55ish, pants and gloves im not sure
Skates can be as low as 100 and I think will top out at 300 or 250
Blocker/gloves are like 150-200 I think, dont remember leg pads
Last year I saw some 43 game worn jersey that was only 250 or something, cant remember the name though
And yes you can buy cups, not used though

That's to be expected I guess, RHers get shafted everywhere ;)

Very good prices, though. Up here prices are at least $40-$50 more.

Highly doubt there will be but if there are any Burns or Winchester gloves hiding when you get there could you grab them for me?

Wow that is a lot of stuff

NHL teams could care less that you want a pair of brand new Warrior Luxe/Franchise custom thumb loop super custom digi toilet paper soft palm with double added reinforced custom Warrior logo backhand padding gloves or a 17 flex double kreps curve upside down toe hook stick from your fav player/team. -Bakes
