Just curious, wondering if anyone knows what size gloves Letang and Malkin both wear?

Geno wears 13" with +1/4" fingers, Letang's I believe are a 13.5" wide

the recent ones of his are narrow so i think it's safe to say he's a gear whore like the rest of us and changes his mind all the time haha

Thanks guys. The whole reason this came up was because I got a pair of Geno HG12s and was wondering if he really wore 13's, thinking they would be so small for someone his size haha. I think the Letang Easton's I've seen are 13.5 too. I love the retro warriors he uses now though.

some of them were. I have a pair of X60 that are 13"

Geno tries everything.  13" with extended fingers, 14", 15" with -1" cuff.  I've seen them all.  Bauer gloves, Warrior gloves, CCM gloves...

Same with his sticks.  I owned one of his V9's that was a 77 flex, and he's got 110 flex floating around out there.  He's all over the map.

 

He'd fit right in with us.

Geno plays with 13" with a +1 extension in the fingers, there is a pair for a reasonable price on ebay right now, ccm.hg12s I think

Saw an interview with Malkin where he is talking about his time growing up in Russia, and being undersized.

Apparently he had a very late growth spurt, and for years had to develop/rely on his hands and skating in order to play with larger players in Russia.

 

May explain why he tries to use a smaller fitting glove with different adjustments, since he spent many years not being a massive human being.
