I have a question about width. I usually wear a 9D but could really use a 8.75. I have my eye on a pair of 8.5 pro stock E width skates. I know wider skates typically fit a little larger in my experience. Would I MOST LIKELY be able to pull off a 8.5E?

Depending on the skate, you should be able to get them stretched the extra .25 of a size if you really need it.

What skates are you in right now and what ones are you looking at?

As an example I can wear both 10D and 9.5EE

I'm in 9d 1x and looking at v cut nexus 1n 8.5e

I wear reebok but in the past I've worn 10 and 9.5 sized bauers and switched them out without any real difference noticed by me.

I'm not guaranteeing you'll be fine but from my experience the tech mesh is more generous and forgiving than curv, especially when baked imo
