Hey does anybody know what the most protective shoulder pads are. I separated my shoulder last season and am trying to find the best shoulder pads to protect my shoulder.

My guess would be Jofa 8800, those things are built like tanks !

Any high end shoulder pads will offer good protection.
My favorites are CCM U+ CL and Easton RS.

I separated my shoulder wearing 5030s. I switched to some well padded Hespelers and then to some beauty Grafs. But no matter what I did my shoulder kept coming out of its socket. Finally I had surgery. Hasn't come out since and now I wear Farrells with none of the plastic pieces. I don't think that the super protective shoulder pads are really gonna stop an injury like that from happening.

Just to echo what Grammer said, I've been in the same situation (surgery etc). I'm sure any of the high-end shoulder pads would be fine (I like the Jofas though), but the best protection is building muscle to keep everything in place.

Most protective is the Douglas Defender. They were popular in the 90's. Bulky but bulletproof. Can be had on Ebay pretty cheaply.

cheap protective and amazing feel?

Why doesnt anyone support the Graf GS line? those shoulders and elbow pads are amazing.

I highly suggest those pads. And they're ridiculously cheap
