I'm looking at the possibility of getting a new pair of skates.

 

Currently I'm in retail Bauer Total One skates. I'm looking at getting a pair of retail Bauer Vapor X100 skates for $450. The Total Ones still have lots of life in them, but I'm just looking to see what people on here think.

 

Any thoughts on whether that is an upgrade? downgrade?

 

Play It Again Sports in Winnipeg is having a 3 day sale. They also have Graf Supra 735 Skates for $115 or Graf Supra 709 Skates for $195.

The heel fit difference between vapor and supremes I believe is worth the price difference so go with whichever fits you right. Grafs are great if the heel fits correctly. Softer up top but still stiff

The leather 700 series boots are going to be night and day from the bauers. Way softer way heavier but more freedom of flex so it's a difference preference of skating style
