Question for anyone who can answer. So if I buy prostock skates new in store and bake them would it fit like a new retail or would the persons foot the skate was made for hinder the fit? What’s everyone’s opinion on buying new pro skates

Pro skates could have anything factory done to them with many different specs and sizes. Just try them on pre bake and if they feel close enough to warrant the price then pull the trigger

Picked up a pair of Pro stock Jetspeeds , in my size ( 7.5D ) on ebay. received them , Baked them , Best skates , I ever owned . but like Fooj say's they can have different spec's & sizes. ask a lot of questions about them.

If you are allowed to bake them before you buy them, try it. I bought a pair and got them and they killed my feet but i heated them for 8 minutes and it completely changed the fit

Ive worn a few pairs, and it was never a problem after getting them baked, but they also felt good without baking them.

it all depends on who they were made for. a large majority of pros at all levels are wearing off the shelf lasts with custom personalization, tongues heel lifts liners etc.

Obviously this is going to change moving forward with all the new tech going into skate fitting but for older models there are quite a few pairs that are just going to be retail sizing with add ons.
