That is the big Z-flap. He had the same/similar thing on his Eastons.
They have elastic on them and really hug your wrist when you rotate and flex it

Haha. "Big Z-Flap." Great name. He does have some pretty unique gloves though. His Eastons always had that big flap, a mouthguard holder and a little plastic piece on the palm in the thumb area of his bottom hand.

Not sure on the looks of the new Warrior lid. Guess we'll have to see how it fits.

I have 2 Bauer 4500s, coming from CCM v08, and before that a Reebok 8k. The Krown 360 is pretty different from all three. The foams inside are a mix of hard EPP foam and some softer material along with another material that grips when it gets wet so it keeps the helmet from sliding around on.your head. I did not get to wear it on the ice, but the front to back, and side to side adjustability allowed me to tune it to my head shape perfectly. Like I said, no pressure points. It really is something you will have to try out to understand.

I tried it at the hockey Expo at Place Bonaventure, I did find it big and heavy ( especially since I usually play with an S19 ) but if's it's good enough for Zee, it's good enough for me !
