i'm in dire need of a new jock...

my current one is just the loose jock shorts style, the velcro has ripped off, they fall off my ass during play as well

i really wanna get a jock with the garter belt style

but lets get serious, 100$ for a reebok 10k jock? are they really worth it? i know its about protecting my nuts but still...

thoughts? experiences?

I wear a 9.99$ generic brand with a separate garter belt.
It does the job

I am also a fan of the old school jock garter combo and they are getting harder to find but they do run only about 15 - 20 bucks

I'd love to find a garter that has the Velcro instead of the buttons to use for the new edge socks? Anyone seen anything like this?

The 10k is very nice. Two big things distinguish it from your basic cheap jock/garter.

1) The cup piece covers much more area than a typical cup. It has an area on top that covers the area right above your junk (most pads leave this unprotected) and the cup extends down further into "Middle Earth" than others, but not uncomfortably so. This extra protection both top and bottom is instantly noticeable.

2) The garters are very sturdy--the clips are made of very durable plastic. I doesn't bend and rust like the cheap garters do.

I used mine for a while, but I'm a pretty thin guy, so the senior size waistband really was too big for me. What I ended up doing was removing the cup and sewing it into my 9k girdle. I also removed the garter clips and sewed them on the girdle "shorts".

Mee too! Works great! Sure I would like the jock and garter combined....but I can buy a pr of gloves with what they want for one of those Reebok ones!! Screw that! I actually made my own jock shorts....with velcro, works great, but I wear a garter too! LOL

I used to wear the cheapo jock and desperate garter but was going through them too fast so ended up spending more money replacing them. I recently bought a shock doctor jock that has built in garter so it one piece - I love it and it seems to be very well made cause its holding up great, I forget exactly how much it was but I think 30-40$....so that's my suggestion if you like the jock/garter over Velcro but want a better quality than the 10$ jock

That's exactly the same as the 10k, except the 10k has garters and does not have the adjustable tie thingies.

I've got it too. It's awesome. I sewed some stretchy straps with velcro tabs that I took from an old pair of Shock Doctor jock shorts onto the waistband. It's great.
