I have regular Step Steel, does anyone have an opinion as to whether Black Step Steel is worth the extra$50 or so and also is the Black as tall as the standard?

I’ve only used V-Steel and Black, didn’t notice too much of a difference.

I’ve also had v steel and black. Never noticed a substantial difference apart from style points

If I was paying full retail probability not. Fortunately all the sets I have purchased were under retail

I have seen $70 for standard and $120 for black unless anyone has 254s for sale cheaper
