Hey guys, I have a really cool event coming up in March with former NHLers and thought about picking up a wood-look stick that I could use in the games that weekend and afterward have signed.

Missed out on the ones from PSHS which is pretty much exactly what I’m looking for:

I came across this site for custom sticks which also offers a wood look although I have no idea about the quality and it’s more expensive than the ones from PSHS:

Alternatively I suppose I could just get an actual wood stick, but I couldn’t see myself actually playing with that. Anybody have any other suggestions/recommendations?

Thanks!

$75CAD for a 5030 CC.  I wouldn't expect much performance out of it though.

If your bag has wheels, you don't.

I had thought about the 5030, but there are a lot of logos all over the stick which wouldn’t be ideal for signatures. Think I’m going to go with this option: https://www.thirdass...eyStickKit.html

I won’t play with it, but no logos so players will have all the room they need to sign

Stick arrived and it looks really sweet! Doubt I'll actually use it, but I did want to seek your guys' feedback regarding color for signature. Debating between silver and black. What say you?

I think the contrast of silver looks better, but they're usually paint pens & depending on the type sometimes they don't work all the time....but a black sharpie is always dependable :dunno:

btw, show us the twig!

Here’s the stick itself. I suppose I could sand it down to a lighter color for black to show up better?

I wouldn't sand it down, that finish looks great....maybe try to find the metallic silver Sharpie, and have a few on hand.
